With over a decade of experience, advanced teaching qualifications and a passion for language education, I can help you reach your goals for learning Spanish - whether it is to master the basics or score a 5 on your AP exam.
Learning a language can be both intimidating and difficult - everything from remembering the sounds of different letter combinations, to the many different grammar conjugations and rules. I work hard to create a safe environment that encourages you to take risks and I provide a lot of positive reinforcement that helps cultivate your confidence.
I strive to make lessons applicable, informative, and enjoyable for everyone.

My sessions are carefully crafted to cater to each student's unique learning style, proficiency level, and learning goals.
I am technically not a native speaker - although I have native-fluent pronunciation due to immersion from birth. This unique upbringing means that I know how to overcome many of the challenges of learning Spanish as second language. Combining my familiarity with those challenges with my teaching and tutoring experience (11 years and 6 years, respectively) is a winning combination that will help you or your child reach their Spanish learning goals.
Our time together will focus on interactive learning, utilizing authentic resources (images, videos, websites, advertisements, etc.) as well as a communicative approach (role-playing and conversational practice) to help you gain confidence in expressing yourself.
These sessions are for students currently enrolled in a Spanish class (either in middle school, high school, or college) and as such, we can also spend time working through and building upon your assignments for class.
