About Valentina
I am a professional with specific knowledge on Learning Disabilities, registered with the Erickson Register. I have also Cambridge CELTA and TKT Awards in English Language.
Together we will discover and develop your own personal way of learning and studying. I will support you with your English homework (I have been teaching children, teenagers and grown ups for 20 years ). But I will also help you with other subjects such as Italian, History and Geography, Art etc.
At the end of this "journey together" you will have increased your sense of:
SELF-EFFICACY...... i.e. "I can make it work!"
SELF-ESTEEM ...... i.e. "I am good at what I do!"
SELF-RELIANCE ..... i. e. "I can do it by myself!"

I will be at your side and together we will work out which strategies better suit you, having one goal in mind: that you become an autonomous and self-confident learner. At school and ...in life.
I will sometimes suggest activities or tasks you are not used to. Don't worry! It will be like walking a new path that takes closer to our aim: becoming self-confident enough to believe that you can make it!.
But above all....YOU will be the leader of this "team". Every choice will be your choice, because it does work for you and it matters to you, regardless what others might say.
