About Tanya
I am a 30-year-old chartered professional engineer currently working as a lead engineer for a consulting firm.
I am passionate about tutoring mathematics as I thoroughly enjoy it as a subject and actively use it daily within my career! I want to inspire others to build confidence in it and use it as a building block for their future careers.
Mathematics is such an important subject and will be used throughout life. With a little patience and guidance, everyone can master mathematics and no longer feel afraid when faced with a maths problem.

I use a personal approach to teaching mathematics as all students are different. Whether they require visual aids, mock tests or simply step by step tutorials on how to complete certain maths problems.
I have face to face experience with tutoring maths for year 7 to 10 students and I greatly enjoy seeing them build confidence.
I aim to keep my lessons 1-hour long to maintain focus, but longer sessions may be required in preparation of tests.
