About Emma
I am a Chemistry graduate, with A-Levels in Chemistry (A*), Maths (A) and English Literature (A*). I have 9 A*'s at GCSE and am very well equipped to tutor Chemistry and Maths to an A-Level standard. I have delivered tutoring in both a primary school and GCSE setting, and have tutored several students, having received very positive feedback as being very patient and explaining things extremely well!

I give lessons primarily to GCSE students, but can also teach up to A-Level. I tutor based on what you want and need - it's up to you what topics you would like help with! In a typical hour-long lesson, I will give an explanation and overview of the topic and any formulae that would be useful, followed by a suggestion as to how to approach some typical exam questions. Following this, we will work through some questions together - these can be ones suggested by myself, or we can work through specific questions if you send them to me in advance! If there are any queries or concerns throughout the lesson, you are encouraged to just stop me and ask. I am very patient in my approach and happy to take the time to explain things in different ways, or in greater detail.
