About Sambarta
I am Sambarta Banerjee, a professional chess player and coach from Kolkata, India. My current FIDE ELO is 2057. I have been playing chess for the past 14 years and teaching for the last 5 years. I have won several state and All India tournaments. I believe in a fun and interactive way of learning, so my classes are never boring. My training structure depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Regular solving of tactics to improve pattern recognition and theoretical endgame. I don't just teach chess, I make my students think for themselves.

My approach to chess is very practical. I try to teach my students through solving exercise, studying classic games and playing practice games after every lessons. As I myself have worked with some highly regarded coaches I have engulfed their training methods and structured one of my own.

Sambarta is an amazing coach. He is very patient and is always willing to answer any questions. The lessons are very well planned out and always good fun and educational. The tactics and strategies he has shown, have improved my son chess greatly.
