About Agnes
I have more than 12 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am passionate about helping them succeed musically. My teaching style is creative, flexible, and student-focused, allowing learners to progress comfortably and confidently.
I focus on strong piano fundamentals, including technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory. I use innovative methods such as improvisation, composition projects, and modern music arrangements to keep lessons engaging.
I also help students develop performance confidence and expressive playing. My goal is to guide students towards steady improvement, enjoyable learning, and a lifelong appreciation for piano and music.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, structured learning, and student growth. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable, meaningful, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring different music styles, learning favourite songs, and practising simple improvisation. This allows students to express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in clear, simple steps. Students learn to identify mistakes and improve independently.
Accountability is a core part of my teaching. I help students set achievable goals, maintain regular practice routines, and track their progress. This builds discipline, motivation, and confidence.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to develop well-rounded musicians.
