About Guy
I have a Classics degree from Oxford and postgraduate degrees from Oxford and Cambridge. In between my studies, I've taught (mostly EFL) in a variety of countries, including South Africa, the Czech Republic, and the People's Republic of China, and I've recently finished a PGCE at Cambridge, with a focus on Latin/Classics. Most of all, though, I'm a huge nerd: I'm fascinated by languages and how they work, and I love being able to share this passion with others.

I'm a firm believer in fitting lesson content to your needs as a learner, based on your aims and prior subject knowledge. If you're just starting out with Latin, I'd generally use the Cambridge Latin Course, since this provides you with plenty of opportunities to see Latin used in context. If you already have some Latin and want to take it further, we can start with a consultation lesson to see where your strengths and weaknesses lie and what areas you'd benefit most from working on, and then take it from there. And if there's some specific aspect of Latin you'd like to look at, just let me know and we can focus on that.
