About Laura
I am a recent graduate from Eastern Kentucky University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science. While at EKU, I tutored student athletes in a variety of subjects including English, biology, history, and college algebra. Throughout my educational experience before college, I often helped my classmates with their homework both in and out of class in all subjects while also volunteering to tutor younger students after school.

When I help a student, I always start by determining what their strengths and weaknesses are. I ask how they study, how they take notes, how they do their homework, etc. Often, a student's problem is with how they approach learning, not that they don't understand the topics. I work with students to improve their learning methods and habits while also helping them master subjects they are struggling with.
