About Evy Anna

“Hi, my name is Evy. I have a background in communication, and I’ve been learning piano for over 16 years. I’m bilingual in English and Mandarin, and I enjoy helping students express themselves better through music and language. I want to teach because I believe learning should feel encouraging, not stressful. Everyone learns at a different pace, and my goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and comfortable as you learn.”

About the lesson

I adopt a student-centred and communication-based approach to teaching, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I believe in building strong foundations before advancing, while encouraging confidence and creativity.

My teaching methods include:

Step-by-step explanations using simple, clear language

Demonstration followed by guided practice

Active student participation rather than passive learning

Positive reinforcement to build confidence

Adaptation of lesson pace based on the student’s progress

For younger learners, I incorporate interactive activities, games, and music to sustain attention and enjoyment. For older students and adults, lessons focus on practical application, clarity, and confidence-building.
