About Leanna

I work as a Communicative Disorders Assistant within the field of speech, language and literacy. I also graduated with an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Psychology and am excited to use my many years of experience and learning in a way that supports the knowledge and skills of others.
I want to see you flourish and reach your goals, and will work with you to make that happen!

About the lesson

I have experience within the field of literacy and love teaching individuals the skills they need to be able to successfully spell, write, increase reading comprehension and fluency.
I believe getting to know the individual is so important in learning and will be a focus throughout the sessions in discovering strengths in order to bolster learning! All lesson plans will be individualized to the individual and will be created in collaboration.

Leanna is a dedicated and caring teacher. She is kind, patient, and attentive. She has tutored me through APA formatting and several University level assignments, but she has also worked closely with young children for many years. She has a very empowering manner and I have no doubt all of her students will agree!
