For complete understanding of programming and other computer skills, I took my students through Theoretical Approach to the particular topic then dive into the Practical Approach. I usually conduct 1hour and 2 hours period of lesson dividing the time into two for both approaches to lesson.
I'm a graduate in Computer Science and I have 3 years experience in teaching students of at least 12 year upward computer skills.
