About Rick
I’m a Computer Science student at the University of Michigan with a strong background in math, science, and programming. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience with students of different ages, including one-on-one instruction and classroom settings. The most important part of tutoring is connecting with the student. I try to understand how they think, what they are struggling with, and what teaching style works best for them. From there, I explain concepts clearly, work through examples together, and gradually let them solve problems independently. My lessons are flexible and personalized for elementary, middle, and high school students, with a focus on building both understanding and confidence.
