About Adam
A Bit About Me:
I’ve been working as a part-time tutor since I was in school myself, primarily helping younger students. I have a genuine passion for tutoring because, when I was at school, I often needed guidance from someone more experienced but didn’t always have access to it. That experience motivates me to be the tutor I once needed.
I also co-founded the Computer Science Society at my school, where I helped build interest in the subject and supported younger students in learning the basics of computer science.
Academically, I achieved:
Grade 9 in GCSE Maths
Grade A in A-Level Maths
Grade A* in A-Level Computer Science
I work best with students from Year 7 to Year 11, but if you’re outside this age range, feel free to get in touch and we can discuss whether I’m a good fit.

How My Sessions Work!
Before each session, I ask students to send over the topics or content they’d like to cover. This allows me to prepare properly in advance and make sure each lesson is high-quality, focused, and supported by relevant exam-style questions.
Sessions are 1 hour long and usually structured as follows:
- First 45 minutes: Clear, step-by-step explanation of the topic, working through examples together.
- Final 15 minutes: Reinforcing what we’ve learnt using targeted questions to build confidence and understanding.
I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’m very flexible in my approach. If a different structure or teaching style works better for you, I’m more than happy to adapt the session to suit your learning style and needs.
