About Sahil
I've always had a passion for problem-solving and helping others, which is what naturally drew me to tutoring. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student finally click with a topic they've been struggling with — that moment makes it all worth it.
Outside of teaching, I'm into coding personal projects, football, gaming and films. I find that having real interests outside of academics actually makes me a better tutor — I can keep sessions fun and relatable rather than dry and robotic, which younger students especially appreciate.
I genuinely care about each student's progress and always make sure lessons are tailored to them rather than one-size-fits-all. Teaching isn't just a side job for me — it's something I find truly enjoyable.

I'm a third-year Computer Science student at the University of Derby, currently on track for a First Class degree. I work as a coding instructor at a UK-certified academy and as a Professor's Assistant in Computational Mathematics, so I'm very comfortable breaking down complex topics in a way that actually makes sense.
I tutor Maths, Computing and Physics for students aged 9–18, from KS3 right through to A-Level. My approach is relaxed and patient — I focus on building genuine understanding rather than just drilling past papers. Sessions are typically one hour and I tailor every lesson to the student's current level, learning style and goals.
