About Kelsey
I have been doing research work for over 5 years and I graduated the University of Tennessee with my degree in Ecology-Evolutionary Biology. While at UT, I worked on a project with salamanders as well as another project with snakes. While I worked at the Clinch River Environmental Studies Organization, I taught middle and high schoolers various research techniques. At NEON, I used my previous knowledge from school and previous research to work on many different scientific protocols.

My teaching approach varies based on the student. I like to tailor lessons to students needs, such as using visual aids to explain hard to grasp concepts for visual learners. Repetition for those who are audible learners. For those who grasp concepts easily I move at a quicker pace. I’m willing to adapt my teaching skills to needs of the student.
