About Melody
Hi, I'm Melody
I am a native Cantonese speaker who also speaks Mandarin, and I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. Having lived and worked in the UK for more than five years, I have a strong understanding of both British culture and everyday English usage, which allows me to help learners communicate naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and interactive. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and practical, so I focus on helping students build confidence through real conversations and useful everyday English.

I teach English to Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking learners, helping them develop the language skills and confidence needed for everyday life, work, study and exams.
My lessons are tailored to individual needs and areas include:
Conversational English – Improve your speaking, listening skills through practical, real-life situations and discussions
Basic English – Build a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary and communication skills.
B1 Exam Preparation – Practise all exam components with guidance on exam techniques and confidence-building.
