About John
My goal is to inspire confidence in my students. My education is from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I studied English Literature and Theatre Studies. I've spent many years tutoring international students in conversational English as well as assisting in their writing and editing. I always listen to my students and work from where they are needing help. I organize my classes to meet your needs and not give you a textbook approach. Additionally, I am available to assist in accent reduction. Looking forward to hearing from you!

With a background as a trained and experienced TV & Film actor (see IMDB) and English Literature major, my tutoring classes are for those not looking for text book training. In PEI, my classes are in person. Otherwise, Online via Zoom or Google Meet. My goal is to get you speaking and being able to stand up in a class or a boardroom and present to your class or colleagues in an clear and impactful way.
