About Raina
Hello! My name is Raina, I am a recent graduate of Yale University, with degrees in Global Affairs and Humanities. I am a current MA student at the Geneva Graduate Institute. I am experienced in academic essay editing for peers and students, and I take the approach of building narratives and confidence. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and meeting new people!

This lesson is about crafting your unique narrative to tie your experiences together and stand out from the crowd. We will go through the process of writing an effective college essay. This lesson is for you if you feel stuck in your essay writing process, or if you have a basic draft that you would like to improve to make it stand out. Depending on your unique needs as a student, we will proceed by:
- Identifying unique experiences with narrative richness to write about
-Refining those ideas to tie your academic focus and activities into a cohesive story
- Editing for vocabulary, clarity, and style
- Restructuring for maximum impact.
