About Alexandru
I have always loved learning, and so I love making it easy for others to learn. My main thing is computer science, having started programming in 5th grade! But I do many other things, and having an extremely curious personality has been a great asset, both professionally and personally. Just to list a few of my interests, in case any of them resonate with you: video games, music and instruments, competitive debate, dancing, bouldering, photography, movies, simulations, biology, neuroscience, neurotechnology, cooking and drawing. I'm pretty sure I will also be curious about you, and what makes you tick!

My lessons are all about you. Visual, verbal, gung-ho or methodical, whatever your learning style is, I will help you understand maths, coding and computer science in a way that sticks for good.
We will work at your pace, in 1-1.5 hour sessions, and I will use my imagination to turn your syllabus and goals into captivating lessons. Having worked with both secondary school pupils as well as fellow researchers, I trust that I will find the right formula to allow you to make optimal progress.
As a Computer Science graduate, and now a research assistant with two years' experience in an interdisciplinary research group working on computational models of fundamental biology, I have worked diligently to refine my communication and teaching skills.
