About Amanda
Despite having not done well in all subjects, English is and was my passion. I want to extend that passion to teaching students the right way to write, understand, and implement English in their work. I am a very driven person, and I enjoy helping others succeed in what I consider to be my strongest subject. Currently, I am working on my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. I am well-versed in what works, what is right, and what does not.

I am first a compassionate listener, figuring out where the student is in their academic journey. Based upon what I learn, I am able to tailor-make any student's curriculum.
Typical lesson plans are created to meet students where they are.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my approach to teaching the individual.
My lessons are for ages 14 and up, mostly centering around middle to high school grade ages.
