About Sadhanasri
Hi there! I am a university student at NUS. I really want to help fellow students who are struggling to achieve the better grades that they want. I have seen and experienced how the way a teacher teaches can completely change the level of understanding that I attain with the subject, and I hope to impart this same knowledge that I have gained with my students. I treat my students as friends and you can approach me for help anytime, whether it be academic or non-academic related. Hope to be your tutor soon!

Over the past two years, I have taught Primary School Mathematics & English to students from different academic backgrounds. Through these experiences, I have learnt that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have gaps in their foundational concepts or are unsure how to approach different question types.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previously covered topics to reinforce long-term retention. I then introduce new concepts using simple, step-by-step explanations and relatable examples before working through guided questions together.
As students become more confident, I gradually increase the difficulty of the questions and expose them to common examination question types. I also teach them how to identify keywords, organise their working clearly, and check for careless mistakes, skills that are often overlooked but can make a significant difference in examination performance.
Beyond helping students score well, I hope to cultivate confidence and independent thinking. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive, and I welcome questions throughout lessons
