I've tutored for two years at my college's math tutoring center. I really enjoy helping students learn math. I have developed the skill of teaching myself a concept with only a basic and limited understanding, since I don’t always fully get it in the classroom setting.

I understand what it is like to struggle with math. For many years I did not fully grasp mathematical concepts. I understand that some students struggle to grasp concepts in a traditional classroom setting, and may require help and explanation of material in new ways. I believe that patience and support is what a struggling student needs above all else.
