About Amanda
Hello!!! My name is Amanda Garcia. I am 16 years old and have such a love for theater. I want to share that with you! I am currently a Junior in high school and head of the drama program. I have been in many shows, taken a million acting classes, and I’m ready to pass all I’ve learned onto you! I believe anyone can be an actor or actress, all it takes is just a little extra help. That’s where I come in! My lessons are creative, interactive, will challenge you but also allow you to have fun! All are welcome and invited, I will accommodate to your needs!

My lessons will explore the art of performing monologues, scene acting, and dialogue. I will provide guidance with the foundational skills needed to grow as an actor. I offer help for upcoming auditions. A typical lesson includes a warmup, which can be a game or some tongue twisters. Moving forward to a lesson on some basic theater principles and if the student has a piece they need help with, I can aid with that or help choose a piece to go over in class. What sets me apart is that I know exactly what it is like to start off as a young kid who doesn’t have any background or experience in drama but such a big love for it. My goal is to provide all the information I have learned over the years and pass it onto an aspiring young actor. I can teach any age group, preferably elementary school and middle school students. However, my services are available to all age groups.
