When teaching writing, I take a collaborative approach in which the writer and I work together to grow a writer's general skills or a specific work of writing. I'm well-versed in teaching about higher order concerns such as flow, organization, analysis, evidence collection and use, and thesis formation to students ranging from 5th grade to college level; I'm also well-versed in teaching about lower order concerns such as grammar, sentence structure, and mechanics.
Native English speaker, highly proficient in Spanish, and learning Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese.

I can't thank Abby enough for the incredible support she's given me throughout my first year of college! Her help with various writing assignments has been a game-changer. Not only does she respond in a timely manner, but her uplifting spirit and positive attitude make every session enjoyable. Abby is bursting with creative ideas that I never would have thought of on my own, pushing my writing to new heights. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your success and can help you reach your goals, I highly recommend Abby. She’s the best!!!
