Normally, in a session, we would start by looking at the material from what is currently being taught and apply it to some exercises (Homework for example). For my technique, I prioritize communicating to the students what specific things they are struggling with and build from there. One method that works for me is the 70/30, where only 30 percent of the lesson is me talking, while the other 70 percent is more application.
