About Jesse
I’ve spent a large part of my life learning and teaching others leadership skills, and how to be a servant leader. The motto of that course in particular is Primus Inter Pares, or first among equals. That motto became my motto as I climbed the El Diablo mountain, and I only fully understood the weight of those words after that small act of kindness from someone who I’d only just met that week. Someone who not only helped me on my way up, but stuck by my side as we navigated our way down the rocky path. We are all equal, and good leaders are able to stand on equal ground, but help forge the path for those that follow. I want to use the skills and knowledge that I have and continue to expand them in order to best serve others. That's why I want to be a tutor. I want to stand by someone’s side and make the struggle easier, to make the reward attainable. I want to bring others to the top of the mountain

I have been a tutor since high school and am currently a peer tutor for chemistry and calculus 1 and 2. I am thinking about graduating with a math major. Math and chemistry are the two subjects that I am best at breaking down to their simplest to explain.
