About Rachel
I have a very driven and outgoing personality when it comes to meeting new people! I have been tutoring students for about 5 years and love helping people. When I was younger I wish I had a tutor to help explain things to me from a different perspective than my own, I want to be that tutor for students wishing they could have that person to help them.

I understand that some teachers can be difficult to work with and I come with a different approach. I have figured out that putting math into terms of steps rather than rules and putting it in a visual matter has helped a lot of the students I've worked with. My lesson plan would consist of knowing what topic we are working on, trying practice problems to figure out what you aren't understanding and then working through those problems until we can find a solution that works for you. These sort of lessons are for people that are struggling with Pre-Algebra (typically in middle school) and Algebra 1 (typically in middle/high school).
