About Katie
I am currently studying Physiotherapy as I love learning about anatomy and physiology and the application to people and real lives. I can tutor biology, geography and PE at all levels up to A-Level. I want to tutor as I struggled in school at times with grasping concepts and understand the difficulties of this first hand. Now I've been through education I believe that I am in the perfect position to help students with both learning content as well as providing emotional support which is equally as important. I was never given the right reassurance and I believe that I can give this to students as I know what my education lacked so now know how to make it better for others.

I want to get to know my student from the onset as my approach is person focused. I want to understand their experiences, challenges and goals for tutoring and personalise my teaching methods and approach to them to ensure they are actively involved in their learning. This would allow me to ensure their expectations and goals are met and give me the best opportunity to help them succeed and reach their potential.
