About Thalia
My names Thalia and I'm a second year student at the University of Birmingham, studying Sociology and Social Policy. I am passionate about both History and Sociology, which is why I love to teach so I can inspire others to feel the same. I have been tutoring throughout lockdown and I have enjoyed it so much as I have been able to help students enjoy a subject again and make them proud of their work and what they have achieved.

I teach GCSE Sociology and History in fun and interactive ways which help to engage students and makes them more interested in the subject. Lessons are an hour long which enables me to get enough work done without tiring out the students. I like to work with the student to decide what method works best for them, as I believe all students work differently which schools are not able to do.
