- Served as an AmeriCorps member with City Year Chicago during 2018-2019 school year as a tutor and mentor; and during 2019-2020 school year as the team leader
- Privately tutored four students in 6th, 8th, 11th grade math over the last four years effectively raising their grades from failing to As or Bs

My style is student centered, where students are encouraged to use their critical thinking skills to attempt the problem on their own first before asking for help.
I get to know my students so that I can find ways to connect with them and enhance their learning.
I help my students learn how to ask the right questions so that they can figure out future problems with less dependence and higher confidence.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am open and willing to conduct online lessons via Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, phone call, etc.
