About Maryam
I am a dedicated and results-driven educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in international schools, specializing in English language education. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Education by Research, which strengthens my expertise in academic practice, curriculum development, and educational research.
At present, I work as an English teacher in a Malaysian school while also contributing to the Academic Department, where I support curriculum planning, academic standards, and student development. My experience combines strong classroom practice with academic leadership, allowing me to effectively support learners, teachers, and institutions in achieving high educational outcomes.

My lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs. With over 10 years of experience in international and Malaysian schools, I focus on helping students build strong English communication skills, academic confidence, and critical thinking.
Lessons are designed using research-based teaching methods, drawing on my ongoing PhD in Education by Research. I provide clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback to ensure steady progress. I teach grammar, reading, writing, speaking, listening, exam preparation, and academic English, adapting materials to suit different levels and learning styles.
I believe in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, and improve consistently.
