About Kristine
To whom it may concern:
I hope you are well!
To provide some background on me: I have had almost four-years of engineering courses, mainly materials (chemistry-focused) and mechanical engineering. Moreover, I have been an active member of a SAE club on my university's campus for over three years, which designs, analyzes, manufactures, tests, and competes two racecars. If you or your child is interested in pursuing a STEM-related field, I can provide advice and focus on concepts more applicable to these fields. Moreover, if you or your child is currently following a curriculum, I will provide extra lessons on the curriculum provided. Please feel free to reach out to me if you are interested! Tutoring requires enthusiasm about the subject on both ends. Being both a student and helping teach others through my volunteer work has shown me the importance of motivation. For instance, showing the importance of fundamental mathematics in real-world applications can influence students to be more involved in the subject they are learning. This can range from showing how basic arithmetic is used to determine feed speeds on a mill to displaying how integrals are used to solve fluid mechanic problems. I will try my best as a tutor to create problems that are applicable to real-world scenarios.
