About Sarah
I have been learning the violin for 10 years and throughout my journey, I have played in various orchestras (My school’s, APO Summer School orchestra and the KBB Honours Programme) as 1st Violin. Usually, we begin with studies/ scales which will roughly take up 20%-30% of our lesson. This can act as a warm-up whilst also improving fundamental techniques. Then the remainder of the lesson will be used on the pieces, in which I will offer fingering, articulation, and bowing suggestions whilst also correcting any mistakes. I will provide feedback and offer certain areas for students to practice on.
