About Ipsita
I am an experienced Odissi dancer, experimenting, practicing and teaching a blending of classical precision with contemporary movement & expression for more than 19 years. My teaching empowers students to explore creativity, build confidence, and deepen self-awareness through rhythm and movement. I am an Odissi dancer, disciple of Guru Dona Ganguly, carrying forward the divine legacy of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra with over 15 years of experience in performing across prestigious stages such as Konark Festival, Taj Mahotsav, Dhauli Kalinga Mahotsav, Dover Lane Music Conference, and more. I bring deep tradition and creative innovation together. Honored with Nritya Charuseela Puraskar and Odissi Jyoti Samman, I now offer personalized dance sessions blending classical Odissi techniques with modern body fluidity — making it easy to learn, graceful, and soulful to practice.
