About Alexis
Hi! My name is Alexis Troskie and I am a second-year mechanical engineering student at UCT. I am dedicated and hardworking. I am committed to helping students understand concepts clearly and confidently! I take pride in being well-prepared, reliable, and approachable. I want to help you find your best learning style and most effective study techniques and will cater my teaching to however you need. I matriculated in 2024 which means I still have a very good understanding of high school material and my matric marks show that I am adequately equipped to teach these concepts.

I am a second-year UCT engineering student which means I have been in high school recently so I understand students and their needs easier. I received 96% for accounting, 97% for both math and AP math and 89% for physics in matric. I have many practice materials and notes that I can provide. I am dedicated and hard-working and will ensure I am fully prepped before every session with the necessary notes and materials. I will customize how I teach each student and will help them learn what study methods are most effective for them. My lessons will all be an hour to 2 hours max as most students cannot concentrate for longer periods of time. Price is negotiable but I ask for R200 an hour I am proficient in English
