About Ann
I am a Healthcare Systems Engineering masters student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2019. I have completed coursework in chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, calculus, physics and psychology. I plan to apply to medical school and scored in the 80th percentile on the MCAT in 2019.

I am a graduate student at Loyola Marymount. I have recent experience tutoring high school students in science and math coursework. My approach as as tutor is to guide the student to the right answer rather than providing it myself. I typically ask my students to attempt to answer their question first and explain why. This allows me to grasp their current understanding of the concepts. Then I tailor the rest of the session to their specific needs. I am very flexible and willing to work with students at all levels.

Appointment Cancellation
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other students. In order to be respectful of your fellow peers, please email/text me as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 2 hours in advance.
Late Cancellations/No-Shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 2 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a student misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, I will charge the patient a 15$ missed appointment fee.
