About Tom
In the hospital environment, it is a very important requirement to be able to teach well and pass on knowledge to others around you on a daily basis. With 4 years worth of experience under my belt, I feel I am able to impart my knowledge to others in a clear and relatable fashion whilst also developing a good relationship with students. From the feedback I have received from peers within hospital, I believe teaching is a strong point of mine, which I am able to tailor to each individual.

I like to begin by working out what you feel most comfortable at, and then what you find most frustrating. From here we can form a plan, and whether it be notes, problem solving, talking things through, questions, case studies or flashcards, together we can work out a solution and make studying seem easy (work smart not hard is still my motto!).
Once we have talked through what you are struggling with, we can hone in on that topic(s), stripping it right back to basics and building up a framework of understanding from which case studies and examples can be attached to.
I have received various methods of teaching over the years, some of which worked for me and other not so much. With this in mind, I'd love to know what works best for you so we can maximise your learning potential. If you don't know, then we can try a variety of things and hopefully you can figure out what methods work and what don't, so you can harness this in the future and teach yourself absolutely anything!
