My approach to tutoring secondary mathematics is student centered and rooted in the latest educational research, leveraging my dual roles as a secondary math teacher and doctoral candidate. The core of the session involves dissecting a new concept or challenging area, utilizing visual aids, real world examples, and problem solving strategies tailored to your learning style. We conclude with an assessment to show retention and set the focus for the next session. This systematic approach ensures that students not only get the right answers but truly grasp the underlying mathematical structure.
