About Madeline
Hi! I'm Madeline Abel and I'm originally from Chicago, IL. I am currently a student at The East 15 Acting School on the MFA Directing course. I have been onstage since I was ten years old and have played a variety of characters. I received a BA in Theatre from Valparaiso University and transitioned into Directing which led me to the UK. I have a lot of experience with classical texts from Greek Theatre to Shakespeare. Through my studies in Undergrad and now in Postgrad, I have gained a great understanding of classical texts and can help a lot with comprehension. I have also been a musician since I was six and have quite a lot of musical theatre, so I have a lot of practice acting through song as well. I've been to multiple auditions in my life so I understand you all going through it right now! I'm here to help you feel confident and I will always be your biggest fan in our lessons!
