About MacKenzie
I have plenty of experience working with children as I've worked in childcare since I was 18 years old. I have experience with all age groups from infant all the way to grade 10 students. I've always had a strong passion and desire to work with children to be able to better their future and to be apart of their positive experiences growing up. I'm currently in school for my DSW program and I work with children who have learning disabilities as well as children who have developmental disabilities, or both. I'm very easy going and I love to make the work fun by making it interactive for the students as well as to make it engaging.

What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have a broad knowledge behind learning how to read as I have experience working with children who have learning disabilities so I have the skill set and resources to be able to help you learn. I offer online or in person sessions for any age range from middle school to high school students. I can also help with science homework, specifically biology, if need be. A typical session would be getting a grasp of where you currently are and then building onto your skillset as well as expanding those skills and providing extra resources to help you.
