I have been a teacher's aide for 3 years in the VPK classroom, 1 year in the first grade classroom and have taught 2nd grade. I have experience tutoring from kindergarten to 5th grade in summer school and home settings.

Children learn best when they are engaged. I have a very hands on approach with games and experiments. Every child is different and I adjust my teaching style to the child. Metacognition is very important, so I also get the students thinking about how they think to come up with solutions.
