About Anika
I am a 17-year-old high school early graduate from California. I've always excelled in school, but math was where I found myself more challenged than I had been in other subjects. Despite my struggles with the subject and unhelpful teachers, I found ways to educate myself and excel in class. My hope is to help other struggling students and provide the help I was not given. Apart from school, I enjoy sports such as water polo and swimming as well as cooking, baking, hiking, and volunteering for the local harbor patrol.

Lessons are most commonly for freshmen/sophomore high school students who are struggling with geometry/trigonometry. A typical lesson will be conducted in the following order: introductions, grade overview, discussion of the areas in which the student needs assistance, and a lesson plan constructed based on the student's knowledge. As a tutor I value the diverse and separate ways young minds process knowledge and focus on finding the best-suited method for the individual.
