About Shahar
I am a creative English tutor who believes writing is not about perfection, grades, or rigid rules—it’s about voice, confidence, and telling the truth beautifully. I write poetry and creative pieces myself, so I understand how vulnerable it can feel to put your thoughts into words, and that’s exactly why I teach: to give students a safe, inspiring space to express what they think and feel without fear of being “wrong.” My approach blends emotional depth with practical guidance, helping students unlock their imagination, develop a distinct writing style, and turn raw ideas into powerful poems and stories. I don’t just teach writing—I mentor writers, guiding them to discover clarity, courage, and confidence through language, so they leave not only writing better, but believing in their voice and their ability to be heard.

As an English tutor for poetry and creative writing, my personal approach is to help students discover and trust their own voice before worrying about rules or perfection.
I guide them through expressive freewriting, sensory imagery, and honest storytelling to build confidence and emotional clarity, then gradually introduce craft tools like metaphor, rhythm, point of view, and revision in a way that enhances—not limits—their creativity.
Each lesson blends a gentle prompt, a short skill focus, and guided writing time, encouraging students to write from memory, feeling, and observation while learning how to shape their work with intention.
The goal is for students to leave not just with stronger writing, but with the confidence to call themselves writers and the ability to express thoughts and emotions clearly, creatively, and fearlessly.
