Language is a basic way to know this country, but more importantly, what you could learn in this class is how to understand the complex cultural context. I wrote more than 100000 words essays about China, including Gender issues, Xinjiang Muslims issues, Education issues in the rural area, etc. I could provide you an in-depth understanding of China in the process of learning a language and I am sure we could have fruitful conversations and interesting learning experience.
