About JUSTINE ROSEL
Hi, I'm your kuya Justine, an Electronics Engineering student and freelance STEM tutor with three years of experience teaching Science, Physics, Math, and Chemistry.
For me, teaching has never been just about content, it's about the moment a concept finally clicks for someone who thought they'd never get there. That moment is what keeps me going, and it shapes how I teach: with real patience, and without ever making a student feel behind for asking the same question twice.
My background in Science Communication competitions, both national and international, sharpened my ability to explain complex, technical ideas with real clarity, whether to a room of judges or a single student who just needs things broken down simply.
Outside of tutoring, I play guitar at an intermediate level, and I bring the same mindset into every lesson: real growth takes patience, consistency, and someone in your corner who genuinely believes you can get there.
Whatever your starting point, my goal is for you to leave every lesson understanding the material more clearly, and feeling more confident in yourself along the way.

My approach centers on building intuition before formulas. I break down complex ideas using everyday analogies and real-world examples, then guide students toward understanding the reasoning behind each concept instead of just memorizing steps. I adapt my pace and explanations to how each student learns best, combining visuals, guided problem-solving, and plenty of hands-on practice.
A typical lesson starts with a quick recap and a chance to clear up any lingering questions, moves into a focused walkthrough of the topic using worked examples, then shifts to guided practice where the student works through problems while I help with the tricky parts. We close with a short summary and a few take-home problems to lock in what was covered.
What sets me apart is my background in science communication, having represented my work in national and international competitions. That experience trained me to explain technical topics clearly to any audience, and paired with my engineering coursework, I bring real technical depth alongside the ability to make it genuinely accessible.
My lessons are ideal for junior high and senior high school students (STEM strand included), as well as students just starting college-level science or math who want a patient, encouraging tutor to help them build real, lasting confidence.
