About Katie
I work hard to make all of my students feel valued and welcome. I understand that some students may not accept help and feel disappointed for needing it. My goal is to make them feel comfortable and allow them to see that they have more potential than they think. It is important to encourage students and teach them in ways that they understand rather than sticking to the standards.

I currently work in an elementary school as an aide to special needs students. I tutor these students to advance their skills in all subjects. My teaching methods are appropriate for grades K-6 students. I work with regular ed and special ed students to provide extra help in areas where they may struggle.
