About Katherine
I have been tutoring and working with elementary students in reading and writing for the past 16 years. I also have a Masters degree that has allowed me to work in positions that focus on coaching teachers and tutoring students at risk. I have taught over 700 students! My students have achieved higher grades and increased reading levels! I am so proud of them!

I have been in education for 16 years, specifically in elementary school. I have also taught college level courses. I love to come up with new ways to help students learn concepts and have fun with their learning! I determine a student's weakness and tailor my lesson to focus on that. I provide support until they feel confident enough to work independently! I like to laugh and use real life examples to help make content understandable and fun!
