About Kaavyaa
Hi, I'm Kaavyaa! I am a Year 2 Chemical Engineering student from Imperial College London, and I specialize in making GCSE Chemistry simple, relatable, and stress-free.
I completed my high school education under the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) board—a curriculum renowned globally for its advanced, rigorous focus on deep STEM and Chemistry foundations. Because I mastered these intensive concepts (achieving a perfect score in my gcse and A-level equivalent both), I have an exceptionally strong command of the subject, which I now translate directly into the UK GCSE curriculum.
As a current university student, I don't teach using dry, confusing textbook jargon. Instead, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, teaching the exact active recall methods and exam techniques that unlock top marks. Whether you are struggling to understand moles, organic chemistry, or balancing equations, I tailor every lesson to your specific pace.

My teaching approach is built on three core pillars: Conceptual Clarity, Active Engagement, and Targeted Exam Strategy. I don't believe in just reading out of a textbook; I ensure students truly understand the "why" behind chemical reactions.
Here is what a typical session looks like:
The lesson is divided into 3 parts
1. The 5-Minute Recall: We start every lesson with a quick quiz on last week's topic. This uses active recall to lock the information into long-term memory.
2. Breaking Down the Concept: Using digital whiteboards and everyday analogies, I break complex topics (like stoichiometry or chemical bonding) into bite-sized, logical steps.
3. Live Practice & Exam Technique: We immediately apply what we just learned to real UK GCSE past paper questions (AQA, Edexcel, OCR).
Between lessons, I provide short tasks and am always available via text if a student gets stuck on a homework question. My goal is to build genuine confidence so that walking into the exam room feels stress-free.
