About Tom
I have 5+ years of teaching experience with K-12 and college students. I worked full-time as a professional coding instructor at a coding academy for more than a year.
I now work as a full-time engineer in the Silicon Valley.
Teaching is a rewarding skill that I wish I can do more outside of my 9-5.

As a student who had a lot of struggles learning coding/programming in school, I put patience and empathy first when teaching.
I have 5+ years in teaching/tutoring. I worked previously as a coding tutor for a professional coding academy where I led several classrooms of K-12 students.
I love to ask questions and give little hints for the student to figure out patterns and build confidents over concepts themselves.
