About Avantika

I'm a Graduate from BITS Pilani, one of the most prestigious universities in India. I love maths and I love teaching, which is why I chose to tutor for 11+. I understand competitive exams and how to study for them. Join me to get into the school of your choice!

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based around instilling confidence in my students that they can do it. First I take a lesson detailing the techniques in problem solving along with basic numerical questions (for example, in an Algebra lesson first I start by explaining what factors and terms are, how to simplify, what is cross multiplication and when can you use it, etc). Followed by this, I give worksheets for the students to try in their own time and then I clarify incorrectly solved questions. Once the students problematic topics are all covered, we solve 11+ past papers from schools like MGS, Habs, etc based on the students target school. My lessons are typically one hour long conducted online. I have 2 years of experience as an 11+ tutor.
